PAGEANT RULES
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
I hereby release the Nelson County Fair Board and any associated companies, persons, or organizations of any liability. I authorize the Nelson County Fair Board to use photos, names, etc. for publicity and news reporting purposes, taped interviews, and on-the-spot broadcasts.
Rules will be in compliance with other Pageant rules. I am allowing my child to enter this pageant with the full understanding of the rules and regulations and accept the fact that the judge's decision is final and uncontestable. I understand that neither score sheets nor judges’ comments will be distributed.
Good sportsmanship is expected of the contestants, their guests and family members. I understand that my child could be disqualified if poor sportsmanship is displayed.
I understand that the only the contestant and his/her escort will be given an admission pass and that other family members including parents must pay to get into the fairgrounds. In case of bad weather, there will be no refunds on pageant fees or admission. I also understand that this is a pageant for mentally and/or physically challenged girls only.
I certify that all the information given is correct. I have read and understand that by signing below, I am giving permission for my child to enter this pageant.

1. FEE: $20.00 per contestant (payable to Nelson Co. Fair)
2. Choice of Sunday dress: dress, skirt, dress pants, etc.
3. Judged on appearance and personality on stage.
4. No talent necessary (can perform a talent, but not judged upon).
5. Everyone will receive participation ribbon.
6. Parents/guardians will be notified prior to photo date.
7. Passes will only be given to the contestant and escort.
8. In case of rain, the pageant will be held at Civic Center.
9. Must be Nelson County resident.
