2011 Little Miss & Mr. Pageant

AGE GROUP: 5-7 YR OLD COUPLES
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 PER COUPLE

ENTRY DEADLINE: June 30, 2011
PRACTICE: JULY 17, 2011 @ 2:00 PM Practice is to be held at the Nelson County fairgrounds unless otherwise notified and is very important to insure that the program goes smoothly.
RULES:
All rules are in compliance with state guidelines (click here) or found in contestant's packets available at Colonial Flower Shop. Copies will also be available on site.
1. Contestants must have reached his/her 5th birthday by June 30th 2011 and cannot have reached his/her 8th birthday of the current year of the contest.
2. All contestants must be a FULL time resident of Nelson County.
3. Professionals are ineligible to compete.
4. Contestants need to dress according to the theme (“Summertime Fun”).
5. Parents/chaperones are not allowed backstage during the pageant.
6. Contestants will be judged as a couple.
7. Judges are from out of town and their decisions are FINAL.
8. Pageant is limited to the first 15 couples.
9. Winners will attend the State pageant held the opening day of the State Fair in August 2011.
10. Passes will be given to the contestants ONLY at the last practice (NOT VALID FOR RIDES).
11. NO RAINCHECKS OR REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT IN THE EVENT THE CONTEST IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER.
12. In the event of rain, pageant will be held at the Civic Center. If at Civic Center, there will be a $5.00 charge to all who enter (this fee is not associated with the fair admission/rides).
