The 2011 Nelson County Fair

Tiny Tot Contest

will be held inside at Samuels Hall.

Parents are reminded to come to Samuels Hall at their assigned group time.

GENERAL RULES:
Entry fee $5 for each contestant, and all contestants must pay $10 gate admission. 
NO refunds/NO rainchecks (includes gate admission) in case the event is cancelled.

1.       All contestants must be Nelson County residents as of June 30th, 2011.

2.       Must be between ages of 25-59 months as of June 30, 2011.

3.       Girls and boys judged separately.

4.       The following age groups will be judged with a 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-place winner announced from each.

A.              25-36 months
B.                37-48 months
C.                49-59 months
D.               Multiple births (twins, triplets, etc).

5.       Winners announced immediately following judging of that age category. 
Judges decisions are FINAL.

6.       Every contestant will receive a participation ribbon. Trophies awarded to 1st-place winner, ribbons to 2nd- and 3^rd place-winners.

7.       Deadline to enter is June 24, 2011.  Mailed entries must be postmarked by this date — not       
          responsible for lost of late mail. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.

8.       All judges will be from outside Nelson County

9.       No pageant dresses, suits, or tuxedos - SUMMER PLAY CLOTHING ONLY.  20 points will be deducted from score for violation of this rule.

10.       Contestants will be notified at least one week prior to contest date.
