FAIR PAGEANT

AGE GROUP:   16-21 YEARS OLD

 

ENTRY FEE:   $40.00 (non refundable)

RULES:

1.    Contestants must follow all the rules of the fair board and state rules (click here for link to state guidelines or go to www.kafs.com). Failure to comply may result in disquali­fication and revocation of title. 
 

2.   Contestant must be 16 years of age on October 31, and cannot be 22 on October 31, 2011.

  

3.   Contestants must be single, never married, never had a marriage annulled, and never had a child.

  

4.   Contestant packets available at Colonial Flower Shop or click application link at bottom of this page. 

 

5.  If we have at least three (3) contestants from Nelson County, then we will crown both a Miss Nelson County and a Miss Nelson County Fair.  Miss Nelson County is expected to compete at the state fair pageant in January.  If for any reason the winner is unable to compete, Miss Nelson County Fair will take her place. 

 

6.  Winner is expected to attend the opening day ceremonies of the Kentucky State Fair in August.

 

7.  Contestants will compete in swimsuit and evening gown.  Contestants will introduce themselves and answer an on-stage question.

 

8.  Each contestant may have one female person allowed with them in the dressing room.

 

We will crown a winner, 1st runner up, and 2nd runner up.  Miss Nelson County will receive for the state pageant:  paid two nights at Galt House in Louisville, entry fee, $200 cash, a sash, bouquet of flowers, and a trophy.    

 

Miss Nelson County Fair will receive a floral bouquet, crown and sash.

 

 

  

No refunds/NO rainchecks (this includes gate admission). 
 

In case of rain, the pageant will be held at Civic Center.
 Admission fee the Civic Center will be $5. 

NOTE: This admission will NOT gain you access to the Fair/rides.
