N E W S F L A S H:

The 2011 Nelson County Fair Baby Contest

will be held inside at Samuels Hall.

Parents are reminded to come to Samuels Hall at their assigned group time.

RULES:

1.  All contestants must be Nelson County residents as of June 30, 2011. Proof of residency could be required if questions arise.

2.  Must be between ages of 12-24 months as of June 30, 2011.

3.  Girls and boys will be judged separately.

4.  Each of the following groups will be judged (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners announced): 12-17 months / 18 -24 months / Multiple births (twins, triplets, etc.) 

5.  Winners will be announced immediately following the judging of that age category.  Judges decisions are FINAL.  

6.  Every baby will receive a participation ribbon. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st-place winners, ribbons to 2nd and 3rd place winners.

7.   Deadime to register is June 24, 2011.   Mailed entries must be postmarked by this date.  NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR LATE MAIL.  NO LATE ENTRIES.

8.  Contestants will be notified one week prior to the contest.

9.  All judges will be from outside Nelson County.

10. NO pageant dresses, suits, or tuxedos --SUMMER play clothing only.   20 points will be deducted from score for violation.
